Telanet at Avaya's SME Global Launch in New York City  - In May of 2011, Daniel Silverman, Telanet’s President attended the Avaya SME Global launch event simulcast to over 1500 business partners and analysts around the globe, highlighting the release of Avaya IP Office Release 7.0 encompassing best of breed of two market leading solutions the Nortel BCM and Avaya IP Office. Besides Mr. Silverman, being a panelist for both the event itself and analyst interviews post event, the event also showcased the first global implementation of IP Office 7.0 re-using Norstar series handsets and networked back into a Nortel BCM450 and BCM50 environment. The client was the Agency Group a long time Telanet customer. Telanet was the one to propose install and implement the solution.
